Glimpses of Bhutan
Few places remain as mysterious as Bhutan. It is probably, the only protected Himalayan Paradise still thriving in its natural splendor. Hidden in the eastern Himalayas between India & China (Tibet), this sparsely populated country of one million people is the last surviving Mahayana Buddhist state. The Kingdom of Bhutan has remained a hidden secret by choice for many years. Today, it has opened its door to visitors, and a small number of people are welcome to explore this fascinating and mysterious land.
Itinerary
Day 01 Arrive Paro.
Upon arrival meet with our representative and transfer to Hotel.Overnight at Hotel in Paro.
Day 02 Paro- Thimphu.
After breakfast visit National Museum, Paro Dzong and Kychu Lhakhang. After lunch transfer to Thimphu.Overnight at Hotel in Thimphu.
Day 03 Punakha/Wangdi Excursion.
Early morning drive to Punakha the winter home of Central Monk Body (Je-Khenpo) and Wangdi, visit dzongs and evening drive back to Thimphu.
Overnight at Hotel in Thimphu.
Day 04 Thimphu Sightseeing.
Morning visit Memorial Chorten, National Library, Painting School, Handicraft shop and shopping. Evening transfer Paro. Overnight at Hotel in Paro.
Day 05 Paro Departure
Early transfer to Airport for onward flight departure.
