Rajasthani Tour
14 Days/13 Nights
Rajasthan is known as "the Land of the Kings" and the home of the
Rajputs. As a group of warriors, the Rajputs have controlled this part of India
for about 1,000 years as per the code of chivalry
and honor similar to the medieval European knights. With
varied geographical features, Rajasthan lies between the
Arayali hills (south) and Thar Desert (northwest and south).
In the mediaval period, there were more than 18 separate states
in Rajasthan. The states were not only power centres but also
known for the development
of arts and architecture. Because of this, Rajasthan now
boasts of different
castles and palaces, forts and fortresses and temples. Mughal
arts and architecture also entered after the Mughals invaded
some parts of Rajasthan. Being home to more friendly and
hospitable people, Rajasthan is rich in language,
customs and costumes, fairs and festivals. The trip may
offer one romantic and unique feelings due to the luxurious life of the
Maharajas. The trip covers travel to Delhi, Shekhawati,
Bikaner, Jaiselmer, Jodhpur, Kumbalgarh, Udaipur, Amer, Jaipur,
Agra and back to Delhi.
