Panch-Pokhari trekking , lying to the north-east of Kathmandu takes you to the base of Jugal Himal. The trek commences  from Chautara (1,400m) , the  home of Sherpa and Tamang people  and goes up to 4,000m at Panch Pokhari, a rarely visited pilgrimage site and ends at Tatopani, the Tibetan border.
