Permit |
| Having a trekking permit is
essential before trekking to the 'controlled' areas.
With the introduction of Trekking Registration
Certificate (TRC), trekkers visiting other trekking
routes also need to take permit from Trekking Agents
Association of Nepal (TAAN), the only umbrella
organisation of trekking companies in Nepal. Before the
introduction of TRC, trekkers would not have to take
permits for trekking to normal routes and areas. |

The following
'controlled' areas are open only for group trekkers.
A trekking permit is not issued to individual
trekkers. The duration and fee are as follows:

form should be submitted through any recognized
trekking agency in Nepal.
