The stunning Rolwaling
valley is situated between the Everest and Langtang region.
The valley holds famous peaks such as Mount Ghauri Shankar
(7134m), Dorje Lakpa, etc. This is a wild and rarely explored
district of all. It has a legendary tale of the abominable snowman,
known as the "Yeti", which has haunted the imagination of climbers.
Rolwaling is the place where the famous British
mountaineer, Eric Shipton first photographed Yeti footprints
in 1951.The trek commences from Dolakha near Charikot. It
takes about eight-hours drive from Kathmandu. Technical
mountaineering skills and equipments are essential for this
incredible and memorable adventure. Trekkers have an
opportunity to enjoy the beauty
of Tsho-Rolpa, the largest Glacier Lake in Nepal .
