It needs no mention that the Annapurna Circuit is the most famous trekking destination of the world. As a trekker, one can have a unique experience of visiting the Annapurna region. The Annapurna sanctuary, the base camp, is often visited by expeditions attempting the massive south face of Annapurna I. The trek to Annapurna base camp includes some of the most spectacular Himalayan sceneries. Offering a glimpse of the lifestyle of the Nepalese living in the mid-hills, the area is a fascinating place to visit. To have a real experience of the area, one has to stay at least a day in the sanctuary. However, trekkers have to be aware of snowfall and avalanches, which might block the narrow entrance to this nature's paradise.
