Previously known as Fluted Peak, Singu Chuli is the highest amongst the trekking peaks in Nepal. The peak is situated in the Annapurna Sanctuary. It was Wilfred Noyce, who made it to the peak first. The peak is considered as one of the most beautiful peaks. The peak is close to Tharpu Chuli and across Hiunchuli peaks.
The trek offers great cultural diversity, as trekkers have to pass through culturally and naturally beautiful villages such as Ghandruk, Chhomorong and Ghorepani.
The base camp of the peak is located at a height of about 4350m above sea level. Other two camps are at 4,900m near the North East Face and at 5,500m. on the Northeast Face of the mountain. A vertical wall near the summit might pose some technical challenges. One is suggesting trekking only with those having alpine and ice-climbing experience.
