
Nepal has still several areas, which are not fully open to foreigners. Such are the 'controlled' areas for which tourists have to pay extra fees.
These areas remain pristine wilderness ecological and cultural museums where life has changed very little. Fees for Trekking to such 'controlled' areas range from US$70 per day (with a 10 day minimum) for Mustang to US$90 per week for Humla and Manaslu.
