Mt. Island Peak Climbing

It is known fact that the prime summits in Nepal are lying in the northern part of the nation, which is dominated by Sherpa people. After landing at Lukla, we start our trek. The very day, we will lodge at Monjo and then after having lunch in the next day, we reach Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is regarded as the gateway to Mount Everest. We gradually enter the magnificent Gokyo valleys, a land of high-altitude lakes and icy glaciers. After crossing Chhukuma La at 6,183 m.We will experience Chhukuma La Pass and proceed towards Everest Base Camp, viewing Kala Patthar at 18,192 ft. (5,545 m.). Our route descends to Dingboche and gently goes to Chukung Valley and Island (Imja Tse) Base camp.
We will attempt to summit the peak which is 20,305ft after one night's rest at the high camp perched on the South West Ridge. Magnificent vistas of the Khumbu region can be speculated. On the way to the bus came, we can have snapshots of Chukung Valley's landscape, Mt. Everest, Mt. Makalu Mt. Lhotse (over 8,000 m.), and many other mountains. Island Peak is very easy to climb. Especially for beginners, the peak is apt for giving a try. Our journey will come to an end at Lukla. From Lukla, we fly back to Kathmandu.
